Honest caveat: IIT Palakkad is a young institution (est. 2015) and carries limitations that come with early-stage growth. NAAC accreditation has not yet been obtained. IIT Palakkad operates six hostels across its two campuses: four at the Nila campus and two at the Sahyadri campus. Rooms are available in double, triple, or single occupancy depending on the campus. Facilities include RO drinking water, washing machines, Wi-Fi, indoor games, and fitness centres. Dining halls operate at both campuses with additional eateries including Kedaram, Kaapi cafe, and an Amul outlet. Professional counselling is available through resident counsellors and the YourDost platform. Sports facilities cover cricket, basketball, volleyball, football, table tennis, badminton, and athletics with professional coaches. The annual technical-cultural fest is Petrichor; student clubs span technical, cultural, and sports domains.
