Jain University runs schools including the School of Sciences, School of Commerce, School of Computer Science and Information Technology, School of Engineering and Technology, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, School of Design, Media and Creative Arts, School of Law, School of Allied Healthcare and Sciences, Center for Management Studies with its flagship CMS Business School, School of Aerospace Engineering, School for Aviation and Aerospace Management, and School of Sports Science and Research, alongside more than ten named research centres.
Admission to undergraduate and most postgraduate programmes runs through JET, the university's own entrance test, combining a written test with an extempore or pick-and-speak round and a personal interview. MBA applicants may substitute the written component with a valid CAT, MAT, ATMA, CMAT, or GMAT score, though the essay, presentation, and interview stages still apply. Law programmes use a JET-Law route, with CLAT and AILET scores also reported as accepted alternatives, though this could not be confirmed directly against the university's own Law admissions page.
| Route | Programmes |
|---|---|
| JET | Undergraduate and most postgraduate programmes |
| JET, or CAT/MAT/ATMA/CMAT/GMAT exemption | MBA (essay, presentation, and interview still required) |
| JET-Law, or CLAT/AILET (reported, not independently confirmed) | Law programmes |
As of this writing, the university's own postgraduate eligibility page states it is accepting applications for the 2026 batch. Independent reporting indicates the main annual JET written-exam session for undergraduate B.Tech was conducted on 9-10 April 2026, with that registration window having closed around the same month, suggesting the current "accepting applications" banner may reflect a later or spot round rather than the primary intake window. This page does not assert a specific still-open date without this qualification.
