IIM Indore holds simultaneous accreditation from AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA, the three global standard-setters for business education. Fewer than 1 percent of business schools worldwide hold all three. The accreditations underwrite academic exchanges with overseas partner schools, standardise the MBA degree for international employers, and signal continuous external review of curriculum, faculty research and outcomes.
IIM Indore created the Integrated Programme in Management in 2011, the first post-Class-12 management programme in the IIM system. The 2026 batch admits 150 students through IPMAT, structured as three years of foundation coursework followed by two years of management curriculum taken alongside the PGP cohort. Graduates exit with a BA in Foundations of Management plus an MBA. Other IIMs copied the model later, but Indore has thirteen graduating cohorts of accumulated alumni and refined pedagogy.
The official Final Placement Report 2025 records an average CTC of about Rs 29.57 LPA for the PGP batch of 2023-25, with the highest domestic offer at Rs 70 LPA. Over 49 percent of the batch was placed in consulting and finance, the two highest-paying functional categories at any Indian b-school. The prior batch (2022-24) cleared 100 percent placement at about Rs 25.68 LPA average and Rs 24.50 LPA median across 150+ recruiters and 594 placed students.
PGP-HRM is a two-year residential programme dedicated entirely to Human Resource Management with its own selection process, curriculum and placement report. Inside the IIM system only a small number of campuses offer an HR-specialised programme at this level. PGP-HRM students take the management core alongside PGP peers but layer in HR-specific electives in organisational behaviour, industrial relations, compensation design and HR analytics.
Beyond the main Indore campus, IIM Indore operates a dedicated Mumbai facility purpose-built for executive education, most notably the PGP for Executives (PGP-MX). For working professionals in Mumbai financial services, consulting and corporate ecosystems, this means access to the IIM Indore degree, faculty and brand without relocating. Mumbai campus is a sustained operating presence in India commercial capital.
Few Indian business schools cover the full management-education career arc the way IIM Indore does. A Class 12 student can enter via the IPM at age 18, complete the PGP or PGP-HRM after a bachelor, return for the one-year EPGP at mid-career, opt for the PGP-MX while still working in Mumbai, then go on to a DPM or EDPM doctoral route. The EFPMG addresses the management and governance niche, and the Executive Education portfolio extends the institute reach.
