IIM Ranchi's NIRF trajectory shows a rank of 15 (2022), followed by a slip to 24 (2023) and recovery to 17 (2024) and 18 (2025). The 2023 dip (score 59.99, lowest in four years) appears to reflect a combination of lower Research and Professional Practice (RPC) and Perception sub-scores, both of which improved in 2024-25. The GO (Graduate Outcomes) sub-score of 89.86 in 2025 is among the stronger figures for a newer IIM.

Its NIRF Perception sub-score (29.28 in 2025) and research collaboration scores remain significantly lower than older IIMs. Total seat intake, programme-wise fee details for MBA/MBA-HR/MBA-BA, and campus area in acres are not published in text-readable form on the official website.
