Hostels: All PGP students are accommodated on campus. The campus has multiple housing complexes; early-phase temporary accommodation details are no longer applicable since the permanent campus is operational. Hostel fee: Rs 25,000 per academic year.

Most management aspirants wait three years to write CAT after graduation. IIM Rohtak lets you enter at 17 through IPMAT-Rohtak and finish a fully accredited BBA+MBA (IPM) or BBA-LLB (IPL) by 22, both five-year integrated programmes with the IIM degree at the end. IIM Rohtak is the second IIM ever to run an IPM (after Indore) and the only IIM with an integrated law programme.
Most IIMs treat HR and sports as electives inside a generic MBA. IIM Rohtak runs PGP-HRM as a full two-year MBA in Human Resource Management with its own intake, faculty pool and recruiter network. The Executive PG Diploma in Sports Management (EPGDSM) is the first such programme at any IIM, structured around legal, financial, operational and branding aspects of sport.
The Sunaria campus on the NH-10 Southern Bypass is one of the largest IIM campuses by land area. The fully residential site means separate hostels for women and men, on-campus faculty housing, full sports facilities, library, learning resource centre and a 24x7 health centre. The highway location keeps Delhi-NCR recruiters within a 70 km drive while giving students the focus of a non-metro campus.
IIM Rohtak ranks 19 in NIRF Management 2025 (overall score 62.60) and 12 in 2024. The Governance and Outcome sub-score is 88.06 out of 100, among the higher numbers in its rank band, reflecting strong placement participation, completion rates, women representation and structured doctoral output. The drop from 12 to 19 in 2025 is driven mainly by softer Perception (30.74) and Research sub-scores.
The PGP 2023-25 batch of 386 students closed at 100 percent placement with average Rs 18.73 LPA, median Rs 17 LPA and highest Rs 36 LPA. The recruiting mix is genuinely diversified: Marketing and Strategy about 30 percent, HR and General Management about 23 percent, IT and Analytics 18 percent, Operations 16 percent, Finance 13 percent. Over 30 PPOs were converted.
CAT and IPMAT cutoffs at IIM Rohtak are meaningfully more achievable than at IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta, Lucknow, Indore or Kozhikode, but the curriculum, course structure, faculty PhD pedigree and IIM Act degree are the same legislative class. For candidates with a strong Class 12 record but a non-top-1 percent CAT score, or for IPMAT aspirants who narrowly miss Indore, Rohtak is the cleanest way to still walk away with an IIM degree.
