Overview
Cinematographers (also called Directors of Photography or DOPs) are the visual architects of films, OTT series, advertising, and music videos. They craft the look and feel through camera, lens, lighting, and composition choices. India is among the world's largest content producers, with Bollywood, regional film industries (Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali, Marathi), OTT originals (Netflix India, Amazon Prime, JioHotstar), and the global advertising-content market (Mumbai is a major Asian production hub).
