Overview
Treasury Managers manage corporate cash, liquidity, foreign exchange, and short-term investments. They are the day-to-day stewards of a company's cash position — managing banking relationships, hedging FX and interest-rate risk, optimising working capital, and planning short-term funding. Large Indian corporates (Reliance, Tata, Mahindra, Aditya Birla, ITC, HUL) plus the export-import-heavy IT services majors (TCS, Infosys, Wipro) and pharma majors (Sun Pharma, Cipla, Dr Reddy's) all run substantial treasury teams. Senior treasurers at large corporates earn ₹50 lakh - 1.5 crore CTC.
