Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University was established by the Government of Andhra Pradesh under Act No. 32 of 2008, with its main campus at Sabbavaram, Visakhapatnam.
The university offers a five-year integrated B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) at the undergraduate level, alongside LL.M. and Ph.D. programmes in law.
DSNLU relocated to its present 45.6-acre hillside campus at Sabbavaram on 30 January 2017. The campus includes digital classrooms, a moot court hall, a digital law library, student and faculty residential facilities, and sustainability infrastructure including a solar power system and sewage treatment plant.
Admission to the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) programme runs through CLAT-UG, with 50 percent of seats reserved under Andhra Pradesh state rules and 40 percent allotted on an all-India basis through the centralised CLAT process.
