National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam, commonly called NLU Assam, was established in 2009 under the National Law School and Judicial Academy, Assam Act, 2009, making it the first NLU established in Northeast India. It operates from its own developed campus on Hajo Road, Amingaon, Guwahati, Assam.
NLUJA Assam offers a BA LLB (Hons.) five-year integrated programme with a BCI-sanctioned intake, a one-year LLM programme, and PhD admission through the university's own Ph.D. Admission Test.
