Overview
Radiology technologists (also called radiographers) operate diagnostic imaging equipment: X-ray, CT scan, MRI, ultrasound, mammography, fluoroscopy. India's expanding diagnostic imaging market (Apollo Diagnostics, Dr Lal PathLabs, SRL, Mahajan Imaging, Lucid Diagnostics) plus large hospital chains (Apollo, Fortis, Manipal, Max, Medanta, AIIMS) have driven sustained High demand. The role is hands-on, requires both technical skill and patient empathy, and offers strong international migration opportunities (UK NHS, Gulf countries, Australia, Canada).
Day-to-day responsibilities
