Overview
UX designers shape how digital products look, feel and function — research user needs, design flows in Figma, and partner with engineers to ship beautiful, usable interfaces. Indian product companies (Razorpay, CRED, Zerodha) have made design a core competence; even SaaS companies and government digital services (UPI, Aadhaar, MyGov) hire heavily.
Day-to-day responsibilities
Conduct user interviews and usability tests; map user journeys; design wireframes and high-fidelity mockups in Figma; build interactive prototypes; collaborate with PMs on requirements and engineers on feasibility; maintain design systems; conduct design reviews; analyse usage data to improve flows.
